Governor of Penza region Oleg Melnichenko called on new head of Penza administration Alexander Basenko, who took office after an early resignation of Andrei Luzgin, to carefully change the staff and find people who would do their job properly, but not through schemes, swindles and various corruption schemes.

“Put things in order. I am waiting for your staffing suggestions on the leadership of the city, I am waiting for staffing suggestions on the leadership of the main municipal enterprises. Let’s change personnel carefully, so to speak, and find people who will do everything properly in the city and not through schemes and swindles and all sorts of corruption stories,” Oleg Melnichenko said, addressing Aleksandr Basenko during an operational meeting held in the regional government via video conference on Monday, November 15.

“I don’t like all this, I tell you right away. I will punish for this and hand over the materials to law enforcement agencies,” the regional head added.
