Penza, 11 April 2017. PenzaNews. Architectural illumination of the Penza Spassky cathedral will be turned on in the evenings after the completion of finishing works, which is scheduled for the end of 2017. This was reported by the chief engineer of the Penza diocese Vadim Yatskov.

"The illumination will be turned on after we complete all finishing works – it will happen in December or January," he said at the press conference that was held at the site of construction on Tuesday, April 11.

Vadim Yatskov explained that at the moment, contracts for organization of outdoor and architectural illumination undergo the stage of conclusion.

"The cathedral and its architectural elements will be illuminated – the cupolas, columns, walls," the chief engineer of the Penza diocese explained.

At the same time, he specified that wiring will start in the near future.
