Penza, 3 May 2017. PenzaNews. Activities of four local religious organizations that belong to the Management centre of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia were stopped in the Penza region.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the organizations were located in Zarechny, Nikolsk, and in Penza - "Tsentralnaya" and "Arbekovo".

"The decision to terminate the activities of the religious organizations was made in accordance with the Part 2, Art. 177 "Making a reasoned decision of the court", Art. 187 "Execution of the court's decision", and Part 3, Art. 264 "Court's decision on an administrative case on suspension of activities" of the Administrative Court Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and on the basis of the resolution part of the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation as of April 20," the department explained.

The department noted that the relevant documents were sent to the regional department of the Federal Tax Service in order to make a necessary entry into the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities.
