Penza, 18 May 2017. PenzaNews. The 12th Orthodox Book Festival “Patron saints of the Russian land” dedicated to the 680th anniversary of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra will be held in the conference hall of the Penza Lermontov regional library on Tuesday, May 23.

The festival will feature an exhibition of Orthodox literature. In addition, the organizers will show the films “The Cloister. The Trinity-Sergius Lavra" and "History of Slavonic Writing Creation".

Young visitors of the festival will be able to take part in an educational game "Who reads much – that knows much".

In the end of the event, the visitors will have an opportunity to listen to spiritual music performed by students of the Sunday school under Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul.

The start of the festival is scheduled for 13.00, the website of the library informs.
