Penza, 6 January 2018. PenzaNews. Workers of EMERCOM of Russia in the Penza region inspected fire safety in cathedrals involved in celebration of Christmas.

During the inspections, the workers made sure that fire extinguishers are available at the cathedrals and examined the state of escape routes. They reminded members of the church of fire safety measures.

Additional guidance on the use of primary extinguishing means was held in the Penza’s Pokrovsky Cathedral.

On the night of January 7 the duty of the personnel of the Fire Safety Inspection Service, a fire brigade and volunteers was organized.

Altogether, there are 245 religious institutions in the territory of the Penza region, the press service of the main regional department of EMERCOM informs.
