Penza, 21 February 2018. PenzaNews. 10 million roubles will be allocated from the regional budget for the construction of a mosque in Prospekt Pobedy street in Penza. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

"Together with Valery Kuzmich [Lidin, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region] we will find a way and 10 million roubles for the completion of the mosque. The work on collection of funds should be intensified," he said turning to chairman of the board of the charity foundation for development of Tatar cultural heritage “Siyanie”, City Duma member Zhigansha Tuktarov during his visit to the mosque construction site on Wednesday, February 21.

The head of the region drew attention to the necessity to make a convenient driveway to the building, which according to him can be made within the project "Safe roads of high quality" in 2019.

According to Ivan Belozertsev, as the main construction works are completed, it is necessary to concentrate on the decoration.

The governor ordered the head of the City Planning and Architecture Department – the main architect of the region Leonid Ioffe to hold weekly meetings on issues of the mosque construction.
