"For each Orthodox believer, Easter Sunday is the main symbol of mercy and love to their neighbours, it gives faith in the miracle and strengthens the hope for triumph of goodness and justice," the mayor noted.

He added that Easter traditions are an integral part of the holiday as they create a special atmosphere in each house, unite people around eternal values, and fill hearts with faith, light and joy.

"On this special day, I sincerely wish you all good health, spiritual harmony, prosperity and happiness! Let peace and harmony reign in your families!" the press service of the Penza administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
