Penza, 15 January 2019. PenzaNews. The Penza diocese plans to open a family Orthodox theatre.

The event is timed to the year of theatre in Russia.

Performances of the theatre, which is expected to bring together both children and adults, will be free of charge. Its activities will be aimed at cultural, spiritual and moral education of the population.

"The purpose of the theatre is to bring joy, kindness and faith in Lord to the world," the press service of the Penza diocese noted.
