Penza, 28 January 2019. PenzaNews. Individual entrepreneur, native of the village of Ust-Uza Dzhamil Kanteev transferred 1 million roubles for the construction of the cathedral mosque that is being built on Pobedy Avenue in Penza. This is stated in a message posted on the website of the charity foundation for development of Tatar cultural heritage “Siyanie”.

It is noted that it is not the first time the businessman provides significant assistance in the construction of the mosque: in early 2018, he allocated 500,000 roubles, and a total of 1,770,000 roubles over the whole period of construction.

"He occupies the fifth position in the list of patrons of the charitable foundation Siyanie aiming at the development of the Tatar spiritual heritage," the text explains.

The message adds that it was the first time over the last few months that such a large amount as 1 million roubles entered the account of the foundation.
