Penza, 30 September 2019. PenzaNews. The campaign "Week of Prayer" will be held in penitentiary institutions of Penza region from 7 to 11 October.

Within its framework, divine liturgies and prayers will be performed in temples of the colonies, including prayers for justice, mental and physical well-being of victims of crime, and the families of prisoners.

As reported on the website of the Penza Theological Seminary, staff of the institution will take part in the campaign. This is provided for by a cooperation agreement, which was previously concluded between the Seminary and the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
