The collective planned play-war maneuvers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of the Penza region and the department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Penza region are hold in the region on Wednesday, June, 8th. During them the stuff works out the steps in case of emergency situations.

According to the legend, in the night of the 7th-8th of June, the group of the armed prisoners got out of the prison, killed the sentry and wounded the chief of the sentry. The criminals took the fire-arms and ammunition.

The press-service of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said: "The plan "Vulkan-3" was introduced on the territory of the region. All officers of the law-enforcement authorities were alarmed; the emergency operation center was organized. After that the complex of operational procedure for the search of highly dangerous criminals was carried out".

About 5 thousand persons of staff and the special equipment were involved into the play-war. The operative situation was under control.
