Penza, 21 June 2011. PenzaNews. The battle mortar mine was found out on the territory of the settlement Lunino of the Penza region. The bomb was casually found by the local teenager near by the old channel of the river Shuksha between Predrechnaya and Zarechnaya Streets and brought it to the scrap metal reception point, located on territory of the food enterprise.

The Chief of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Luninsky district Oleg Shimkin said: "A businessman informed the police about this case. The group of immediate reaction came and confirmed that it was a mortar mine. The cordoning off was organized and the residents of the nearby houses were evacuated. Simultaneously the bomb-disposal experts from the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Penza region were resumed that it was the battle mine".

According to the newspaper "The Surskaya Pravda", subsequently the bomb was destroyed in the career not far from village Sinorovo. There weren't any victims.
