Penza, 25 June 2011. PenzaNews. The regional law "About the organization of transportation of passengers and luggage by automobile taxi on the territory of the Penza region" brought by governor Vasily Bochkarev was adopted by 21 voice pro at 1 voice contra in the first and in the second readings in the definitive edition during the regular session of the Legislative Assembly of the region on Saturday, June, 25th.

The law provides a number of requirements for an automobile taxi driver, the legal body or the individual businessman, who render passengers and luggage transportation service.

In particular, the legal bodies and individual businessmen in accordance with the federal legislation should get the permission to render passengers and luggage transportation service by the automobile taxi, this permission will be given out by the authorized executive office of the government of the Penza region which will be established in the nearest future.

It is established in the law that the automobile taxi should pass the state checkup each 6 months, have the colored scheme on a body representing a composition of squares of contrast color, located in chessboard order, should have an identification lantern of orange color on a roof and be equipped by a taximeter.

The driver of an automobile taxi should have the driver's experience not less than 3 years, confirmed with the documents provided by the labor or civil legislation, or the general driver's experience not less than 5 years.

The specified innovations come into force since September, 1st, 2011.

Besides, all taxi in the city of Penza should be painted in the uniform color by January, 1st, 2015, the yellow color is offered by the deputies.

The law is directed the governor of the Penza region for promulgation.
