Municipal unitary enterprise "Spetsburo" promised to clean the territory of the Mitrofanevsky cemetery by autumn

Penza, 12 July 2011. PenzaNews. The city administration of Penza reacted to the critical report of published on site of news agency "PenzaNews" about inadequate condition of the Mitrofanevsky cemetery. As it was informed earlier, in the beginning of June, 2011 the group of residents of Penza addressed to the news agency with the letter in which they expressed indignation of the condition of the Mitrofanevsky cemetery where there are tombs of their relatives.

According to the representatives of the initiative group, the specialists of "Spetsburo" left cut trees on the fencings of the tombs; it is defilement of burial places.
Dissatisfied citizens wrote that they intend to address to the head of administration of a city Roman Chernov with the requirement to solve the situation and to clear up the territory of the cemetery.
After one month, on July, 12th, 2011, the editor-in-chief of the news agency "PenzaNews" received the letter from the information-analytical department of administration of Penza which informed that "Spetsburo" would took operative measures to clean the cemetery.
The text of the document said: "Sheared trees were sawn and taken out from the territory of the cemetery the remained trees will be liquidated till the end of October, 2011. The problem is that there are hard-to-reach places where the personnel can get an injury. Nevertheless, the works of improvement of the territory of the cemetery are planned to be organized and carried out".
It is underlined in it also in the letter that the director of Municipal unitary enterprise "Spetsburo" reported the head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov about the work done and sent video and photos every week.
In the afternoon on Tuesday, on July, 12th, head of the agency "PenzaNews" informed the representatives of initiative group of citizens about the letter from administration of Penza. In turn, they declared that intend to keep the situation under and to require from the city authorities to fulfill the obligations.
