Court enforcement officers gave back more than 121 million rubles of debts of private persons to the banks

Penza, 13 July 2011. PenzaNews. According to the deputy chief of department organizational-examination and interactions with mass media of the department of  the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs of Russia in the Penza region Maxim Kudinov, 121.6 million rubles on 1.3 thousand of enforcement proceeding is collected from the private persons who took credits in banks and delayed payments, in the first half of 2011.

He said that from the beginning of year there were 13.6 thousand executive documents on collecting debts from private persons in favour of credit institutions for more than 1.5 billion rubles.

Maxim Kudinov said: "One of measures of enforcement is excitation of a criminal case concerning the debtor in accordance with item 177 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation "Malicious circumvention from repayment of creditor debts" maximum sanction is arrest for the term up to 6 months, or imprisonment for the term up to 2 years".

He added that an effective measure also is the temporary restriction of the right to travel abroad during half of year.
