The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disasters Response in the Penza is going to grant a decoration of the Penza fireman the employee of a fire brigade № 5 of the sixth group of the federal fire service of Oleg Vanin for rescue of the sinking child and award a medal "For rescue of the dying".

According to the expert of press-service of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disasters Response in the Penza region Olga Sergienko, representation will be directed to Moscow where they will make the decision about rewarding of the Penza fireman.

She said: "In the beginning of July Oleg Vanin had a rest with the family on a pond in the area "Veterok". There was a 6-year-old Roman Timohin with his parents, the boy dived in soundings. The child hurt himself while diving, choked with water and began to sink. The employee of the Emergency Situations Ministry rescued the boy."
