Direction of Penza grammar school faces penalty for publication of marks in the Internet

Penza, 27 July 2011. PenzaNews. The direction of one Penza grammar schools is suspected of infringement of the law of disclosure of the personal data — surnames of pupils and their marks were exposed in general access in one of Internet portals.

According to teachers, such service was created for parents so that they could watch children's progress online.

Ekaterina Kuznetsova, the assistant to the public prosecutor of the October district of the city of Penza said: "Not to break the law grammar school should conclude the contract with portal about the closed access only for certain users. It was also necessary to receive the written statement from parents that they allow to use personal data of their children. But it wasn't done".

The Office of Public Prosecutor directed the instruction to liquidate infringement of article 13.11 of Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation about disclosing of the information of citizens. The case is sent to the world court. The direction of grammar school faces the penalty.
