Penza, 28 July 2011. PenzaNews. Officials of administration of Penza offered townsmen to make a choice between green plantings and parking lots. The survey will be hold on an official site of the City Mayor's Office in the nearest future.

Lyudmila Kipurova the first deputy of the head of administration of Penza during session of a round table on Wednesday, on July, 27th said: "This question is connected with the center of the city. There is a small amount of trees. Green plantings not always carry out that function which they should do, however at the expense of their cutting down probably considerably increase the number of parking spaces".

She underlined that if townspeople will not support the given initiative the power officials will search for other variants of placing parking in the center of the city.
