Penza, 1 August 2011. PenzaNews. Penzaregion took the first place in Volga Federal district on rates of building of accommodations according to the results of the first half of 2011. The chief of department of town-planning of the Penza region Alexander Grishaev said about it during the operative meeting in the region government on Monday, August, 1st.

Alexander Grishaev said: "During the current year 700 thousand sq. meters of habitation will be constructed in the region. 163 thousand sq. meters were built during 6 months. It is expected that indicators following the results of 9 months will be 437.5 thousand sq. meters of habitation".

As he said, the number of the building organizations which are engaged in building of social habitation increased during the current year in municipal areas.

According to the press-service of the regional government, there isn't still any local contractor in Maloserdobinsky and Neverkinsky areas.

The chief of the department of town-planning of the Penza region added that 1.4 thousand apartments are available in different areas of the region including habitation for participants of social programs.
