It is planned to open a school for young journalists in Penza

Penza, 3 August 2011. PenzaNews. Penzastate pedagogical university named after V.G. Belinsky and department of information policy and mass-media prepare are going to open a school for young journalists at the univercity.

"The chief of department of information policy and mass-media of the region Nelli Davydova wrote in her blog in "LiveJournal": "It's planned that 20–25 pupils of 9-11 classes from the region will stusy at this school. Students will enter on a competitive basis. Introductory tests are divided into two parts. The first one is a written test. The second test is an interview. It is important that training is free. The main thing for us is to find really capable children to help them to realize their potential".

She said that training program will include 50% of practice, such as master classes of known journalists of Penza, masters from the capital of Russia and fellow countrymen working abroad, and also practice in broadcasting and radio companies and printing editions, press conferences and festivals.

She wrote: "We also plan to open a printing edition which can compete with existing mass-media in the future".
