Penza, 8 August 2011. PenzaNews. Department of education of Penza spent more than 7.2 million rubles for textbooks of the first-graders of 2011-2012.

According to the source of the department, according to the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and in connection with introduction of the federal state educational standard of the initial general education more than 35 thousand of textbooks were bought centrally for pupils of the first classes of the city.

The representative of department has added: "Over 130 million roubles are provided in the municipal budget for the preparation of the educational institutions of Penza for new academic year. Repairs of roofs, gyms, medical study rooms and other building works are carried, at the expense of these means".

From August, 16th till August, 20th readiness for schools for new academic year regarding observance of conditions of fire-prevention, sanitary-and-epidemiologic norms, requirements for realization of educational programs will be checked up by the interdepartmental commission including experts of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, state fire supervision and education department.
