Penza, 18 August 2011. PenzaNews. The mayor of Penza Ivan Belozertsev gave the commission to the vice-president of the Penza municipal duma Victor Kuvajtsev to organize a course of major repairs of the territories of the yards, roads and sidewalks. The vice-president visited district GPZ-24 and met the residents of many-storied houses on Wednesday, August, 17th.

Victor Kuvajtsev said: "Major repairs became possible thanks to the project "New roads of Russian cities". Asphalting of the territories of the yards was included in it for the first time since 2007".

During the meeting the local residents noticed that their microdistrict is changing — new roads and the asphalted sidewalks appeared. For example, one of them connect the court yard in street Antonova, 17 and professional lycée №40 with the bus stop and school №70.

According to the agreement, contractors should hand over work till October, 1st.

The vice-president of Penza municipal duma said: "Quality should not decrease. The city authorities watch it strictly and we will achieve correction of all lacks. The warranty period during which road builders should provide 3 years quality of the covering".

According to the press-service of the Penza municipal duma, the representatives of asphalt concrete factory №1 expressed readiness to work all day and night that will allow road builders to increase the working day and to finish work before colds.

Besides, the vice-president of Penza municipal duma said that repairing work of the Penza court yard will proceed with the use of other sources of financing.

Victor Kuvajtsev said: "Activity and readiness of the residents take part in the accomplishment of the city is very important".
