Penza, 18 August 2011. PenzaNews. Cases of ignition of dry grass and garbage became frequent on the territory of the Penza region. According to the press-service of the central administrative board of the Ministry of Emergency Measures in the Penza region, from the beginning of the week among 27 fires, 8 fires were garbage fires.

The press-service said: "One of the main reasons of fires is the human factor. People continue to burn grass and garbage in the country and dachas. Fast distribution of fire is promoted by dry and windy weather".

As news agency "PenzaNews" informed earlier, special fire-prevention mode according to which absolute prohibition of grass and garbage burning, and also use of open fire near apartment houses and buildings is introduced on the territory of the Penza region.
