Penza, 18 August 2011. PenzaNews. The second summer championship on bowling among employees of mass-media of the Penza region will take place in bowling-center "Strike" on Thursday, August, 25th. The initiator of carrying out of the competitions is news agency "PenzaNews".

It is expected that 8 teams will take part in competitions, each of which will consist of two employees of one edition of mass media.

According to the regulations, four teams which will get maximum quantity of points, will struggle in the last match for the first, second and third places of the championship on bowling.

Following the results of the competitions all participants will be awarded by diplomas, and winners will get gifts from the company OJSC"MTS", movie center "Roliks" and fitness club "Atmosphere".

According to organizers, the possibility to play bowling for free becomes the key feature of the championship this year.

The head of the news agency "PenzaNews" Ivan Malikov said: "The championship on bowling is not only competition of different editions of the Penza mass-media. Sports interest, certainly, is present, but it is not defining. The championship is only a format chosen for a meeting of colleagues in non-working conditions. To make dialogue even more pleasant, we provided time of free bowling for participants and spectators. I think, each journalist will be glad to use such possibility".

He added that time for free bowling for journalists will be about two hours and all championship will last three hours.

Final date for applications is Monday, August, 22nd. In case eight commands will confirm participation before the specified term, registration will be completed earlier.

The championship on bowling among employees of mass media of the Penza region was organized for the first time by news agency "PenzaNews" in 2010. 6 teams took part in the competition then, each of which consisted of employees of one edition. The employees of broadcasting companies "Nash Dom", "Express", "Penza", "Zarechny", radio stations "Dobrie Pesny" and also newspapers "Penzenskaya Prava" were among the participants of the tournament.

Following the results of the competition the first place was taken by Broadcasting Company "Nash Dom", they got 763 points, the second place was taken by radio station national team "Dobrie Pesny" and the third place was taken by Broadcasting Company "Express".
