Penza, 23 August 2011. PenzaNews. 13 256 hectares or 78% of a total area of crops of grain and leguminous cultures were reaped in Bessonovsky area of the Penza region. Gross harvest of grain is 20 429 tons. Average productivity of grain and leguminous cultures is 15.5 centners from hectare.

According to the press-service of the regional administration, for sowing of winter crops 11.4 thousand hectares are prepared, 9 thousand hectares for winter wheat, 2.4 thousand hectares for oil-bearing harvest.

The press-service said: "Sowing will begin on August, 25th, technique is prepared, over 2250 tons of the seeds are reserved, which coincide with State Standards".
