Penza, 24 August 2011. PenzaNews. 200 million rubles were spent for preparation of the educational institutions of the Penza region for a new academic year. Svetlana Kopeshkina, the Minister of Education of region informed about it during the press conference at the press center of news agency "PenzaNews" on Wednesday, August, 24th. She noticed that allocated financial assets were spent for repairing of roofs and water supply systems, and also execution of other instructions given out beforehand.

Svetlana Kopeshkina said:"506 schools which were shown to us, will be ready for a new academic year today. All schools passed fire inspections, there are only 8 schools where the repairing of dining rooms and delivery of the new equipment hasn’t completed yet. They are inspected by Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare".

She underlined that one more important aspect is the condition of asphalt covering of the territory of educational institutions.

The minister said: "We made a schedule of visits of experts of the ministry to the areas of the region where they will work with the heads of local government to organize major repairs of asphalt covering or small holes repairing".
