Penza, 25 August 2011. PenzaNews. According to the vice-president of the government of the Penza region Elena Stoljarova, the salary of teachers in the areas where it was below less than average increases.

The vice-premier of the regional government said: "For example, in the 1st quarter of 2011 average salary of teachers of Issinsky area was 9 376 rubles, in June, 2011 it was 9 598 rubles, and in September the average salary will be 14000 rubles. In Nikolsky area in the 1st quarter the salary of teachers was 9 141 rubles, in June it was 9 300 rubles and in September it will reach 14 500 rubles. In Gorodishchensky area in the 1st quarter of 2011 the average salary of teachers was 9 767 rubles, in June it was 10 018 rubles, in September it is planned to be 14 700 rubles".

Elena Stoljarova said that it depends on participation of labor collectives in distribution of stimulating payments and it is supposed that by the end of 2011 the average salary of teachers will reach 15600 rubles.

She said: "In the 1st half of the year the size of the average salary in the Penza region was 15331 rubles. The size of the average salary of doctors was more than 19000 rubles, the average salary of medical personnel was 10000 rubles. The average salary of teachers in the area in the 1st half of the year was 10825 rubles".
