Penza, 30 August 2011. PenzaNews. Solemn Mohammedan prayers on the occasion of one of the most significant religious holidays for Moslems Eid al-Fitr will be held in all mosques of Russia, including the Penza region, on Tuesday, August, 30th.

Eid al-Fitr lasts three days. According to the traditions, people lay the tables, present gifts, help needy people and visit the cemetery.

The chairman of the council of muftis of Russia, mufti of sheikh Ravilja Gajnutdin said: "On Eid al-Fitr in thousand mosques of Russia moslems will say words of takbir about the unity of the Misters symbolizing the unity of all believers".

Eid al-Fitr is the first meal after fast, it means that the fast come to the end in a holy month Ramadan. The holiday is connected with the ideas of spiritual perfection. This day people should make good deeds, take care about relatives and help needy people.
