Penza, 1 September 2011. PenzaNews. The solemn ceremony devoted to the 70th anniversary of Penza State Pedagogical University named after V.G. Belinsky took place in its assembly hall on Thursday, September, 1st.

The rector of the university Vladimir Korotov congratulated everybody and thanked teachers for invaluable contribution to the life of the educational institution and wished students success in study.

The presenters of the ceremony read letters from the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Volga Federal District Grigory Rapota, the deputy of the State Duma of Russia Igor Rudensky and the Minister of health and social development of the Penza region Vladimir Strjuchkov.

The vice-president of the government, the head of the department of regional development of the government of the Penza region Elena Stoljarova also congratulated all workers of the institute. She has expressed special gratitude to those teachers who taught her and helped to form the personality.

Elena Stoljarova presented medals of the governor of the Penza region "For the Glory of the Penza Earth" to the best employees of high school and thanked them on behalf of the Head of the region.

The Minister of Education of the Penza region Svetlana Kopeshkina also congratulated teachers. She told that she didn't pass entering exams for the first time but started to work as a teacher and only then she graduated from extra curriculum department.

Svetlana Kopeshkina thanked teachers for their hard work and presented diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region.
