Penza, 5 September 2011. PenzaNews. The foundation meeting of Penza regional branch of all-Russian public organization "Russian association of assistance to science" took place in the Public chamber of the Penza region.

According to the press-service of the regional government, Igor Pantjushov was chosen as the chairman of the council of the regional branch of “Russian association of assistance to science” who is the head of the Penza regional branch of Russian geographical society and a member of the Public chamber of the region.

Besides, the secretary of the Public chamber of the region Elena Blashchuk and the chairman of the Penza regional branch of Association of lawyers of Russia, a member of the Public chamber of the region Gleb Sintsov were also included in the council of association.

Igor Pantjushov said: “Penza regional branch of “Russian association of assistance to science” will carry out interaction with authorities and scientific organizations of the Penza region, help in development of education, work out and realize scientific and technical programs and projects, and also attract businessmen's attention to different scientific projects”.

All-Russian public organization “Russian association of assistance to science” was created on July, 28th, 2011 at constituent conference in Moscow on the initiative of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation. The secretary of the Public chamber of Russia, the head of Kurchatovsky University, the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgenie Velihov is the head of “Russian association of assistance to science”.

The purpose of association is to consolidate public efforts and help in development of Russian science.
