Penza, 5 September 2011. PenzaNews. Passenger season of children's railway of Kuibyshevskaya main line finished in the Penza region. 782 trips were made in 2011.

The Press Secretary of the Penza region of Kuibyshevskaya railway Alevtina Goldinova said: “In summer children's railway in Penza transported 5000 passengers that is 142 % to the level of last year”.

According to her, during summer 226 schoolboys practiced there as machinists, inspectors of cars, conductors, cashiers, crossing guards of stations and adjuster of railways.

She said: “This year after four-year training on the children's railway 12 children entered Penza railway technical college — the branch of Samara state university transport routes. Schoolboys will rest only 2 months after summer practice. In November theoretical classes of new academic year will start in the educational center of the children's railway”.

Alevtina Goldinova explained that any schoolboy over 12 may become a young railway man.
