Vasily Bochkarev gave the keys from new cars of first aid to the head physicians of central regional hospitals

Penza, 8 September 2011. PenzaNews. Vasily Bochkarev gave 47 keys of cars of first aid "UAZ" and three reanimobiles "Fiat Ducato" to the head physicians of the central regional hospitals of the Penza region on Thursday, on September, 8th. The head of the region congratulated the heads of medical institutions on reception of new techniques and underlined the importance of this event for the Penza region as a whole and for every resident in particular.

Vasily Bochkarev said: "Now our region takes the first place in quantity of first aid cars. I am very glad because each of us understands the importance of help rendered in time".
The head of the region said: "I want to ask the head physicians to control these cars work and don't stay in garages. These new cars should work daily and arrive to the person who needs medical service in time. In 2010 it was found out that new cars weren't used. I warn, if the car isn't used in any hospital, the head physician will not work too".
In turn, the vice-chairman — the Minister of health and social development of the Penza region Vladimir Strjuchkov underlined that regional hospitals got different quantity of cars not by chance.
He said: "Distribution of cars was made taking into account the quantity of the people living in the area, and taking into account the number of cars supplied in 2010. The largest areas got 5 cars, the smallest — 2 cars".
Vladimir Strjuchkov said that the fact the Penza region became the first region in the country which got cars "UAZ" with modern equipment.
In total 66 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget. Cars "UAZ" were chosen because of their high passableness. They are equipped by the necessary medical equipment: a defibrillator, the electrocardiograph, an electropacemaker, the device of artificial ventilation of lungs, pulse oximetes and other new techniques.
Reanimobiles "Fiat Ducato" are equipped with additional medical equipment which will allow doctors to render first aid to the patient during a way to hospital: electrocardio device, cardioscreen and kapnographs.
In 2010 as part of program of aimed at improvement of the first aid, 140 million rubles were allocated from the budget of the Penza region to buy 76 cars "GAZel" and "Fiat Ducato".
