Penza, 12 September 2011. PenzaNews. The management of the Penza airport demanded from the air line company "Ak Bars Aero" LLC to fulfill the terms of the agreement and to render plane "CRJ-200" of the Canadian manufacture for flights "Penza — Moscow" which was replaced by the Russian plane "Jak-40" from the beginning of September.

According to the director of Penza airport Yury Oskolkov, the main reason of the reference to an air carrier was passengers' dissatisfaction.

Yury Oskolkov said: "People got tickets, counting on more comfortable flight conditions which are available "CRJ-200" and on arrival to the airport they saw Jak-40". The air crash near Yaroslav influenced them."

He noticed that due of replacement 50-seater "CRJ-200 on 28-seater "Jak-40" there was a shortage of tickets.

He said: "Flight from Penza to Moscow is in demand. There more than 50 passengers every day. Flight to St.-Petersburg is filled too. Absence of tickets also displeases passengers".

He added that the third problem is controversy of managing subjects. Air Line Company doesn’t pay for land service of aircrafts at Penza airport regularly.

Yury Oskolkov said: "On September, 1st the debts are about 2.2 million rubles. We render services for 700 thousand rubles every month. Non-payments influence on the work of the airport. Land service is the only business in which the airport can be engaged".

There was the claim of the air line company that there is no special anti-chill equipment for Canadian plane in Penza. Yury Oskolkov answered that there is Russian equipment which is certificated for work with aircrafts "CRJ-200" class.

Yury Oskolkov said: "It's planned to purchase import equipment in the 3rd quarter. We plan that by November the equipment will work in Penza. Therefore I consider that the given claim is groundless".
