Penza, 21 September 2011. PenzaNews. 25 persons were lost in water reservoirs of the Penza region in summer 2011. According to the press-service of the central administrative department of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of the Russian Federation, number of died people decreased by 10.7% in comparison with the last summer.

The source of the department said: "In total during this summer 28 incidents were registered on water reservoirs of the Penza region. Employees of State Inspection of Small Vessels held 172 inspections, lifeguards took part in 25 checks. 3 persons were rescued".

The press-service also informed that 1877 vessels are registered in our region, 1282 of them are motor ones.

The source in the department said: "187 small size vessels have recently been registered that is less by 10.9% in comparison with the last year. 206 navigators were certified, 449 technical surveys of small size vessels were spent".
