Penza, 26 September 2011. PenzaNews. In several areas of the Penza region preparation for a cold season was failed. It was declared by the governor Vasily Bochkarev during operative meeting in the region government on Monday, September, 26th.

According to him, preparation for a cold season wasn't finished in several areas of the region because of insufficient control of the heads of municipalities. That's why Vasily Bochkarev offered the first deputy of the chairman of the government of the Penza region Nikolay Ashcheulovu to bring the officials to responsibility for failure of preparation work.

The head of region said: "I remind that we work for the people but not for the heads of administrations".

Vasily Bochkarev noticed that preparation for a cold season is not finished till now not only in some areas of the region, but also in Penza. That's why the head of the region told to Ivan Belozertsev to organize a special session.

The head of the areas explained in their reports that preparation for a cold season was not finished because of replacement of old equipment of boiler-houses or because of problems with contractors.

Vasily Bochkarev offered to fine these contractors.
