Penza, 30 September 2011. PenzaNews. 42.6% of the residents of the Penza region had preventive photoroentgenography inspections in 2011. According to the press-service of the regional Ministry of health and social development, 65% of the residents of the region will be examined till the end of the year.

The press-service said: "The more residents have preventive photoroentgenography the earlier we reveal a disease and carry out medical and preventive actions for tuberculosis and have less disease".

The rate of disease of tuberculosis decreased from 77.2 to 66.9 cases per 100 thousand population for three years.
