Penza, 12 October 2011. PenzaNews. polling places in the region. The chairman of election committee of the region Nikolay Taktarov informed about it during the council session concerning activity of political parties on Wednesday, October, 12th.

Reporting about preparation for elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the sixth convocation, Nikolay Taktarov informed that the Penza region is presented in federal lists of all seven political parties.

The chairman of the regional election committee said: "While the representatives of the parties haven't started active work, the election committee has begun training of organizers of elections".

He said that 486 election districts are formed, total 1135 polling districts are planned to be organized in the Penza region.

Nikolay Taktarov added: "Local election committees will be formed from November, 3rd till November, 10th".

He explained that the election committee has already received 23 thousand absentee voting certificates which will be distributed 45 days before the beginning of voting and 1 million 200 thousand marks with 24 degrees of protection to stick them on ballots.

Nikolay Taktarov summarized: "Question about metal detectors hasn't solved yet".
