Deputies of the Penza municipal duma because of numerous applications of townspeople asked Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare to render data on a possible adverse effect of towers of cellular communication on health of inhabitants in the Penza region.

The representatives of the department informed that according to the results of long-term measurements there is no excess of hygienic specifications of levels of intensity of electric field and density of energy stream of electromagnetic field created by base stations.

The deputy Andrey Fomin added that radiation of a cellular telephone during dialing the number is 2.5 times higher than radiation of a tower of cellular communication.
