Penza, 20 October 2011. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev appreciated the work of system of the social protection, built by noncommercial organizations operating in the Italian area Lombardy.

During the press conference in Penza on Thursday, October, 20th Vasily Bochkarev said: "During my visit to Italy I was amazed by the activity of one of the organizations which feeds 500 thousand persons who are in difficult life position. Thus the local authorities shift the decision of the most part of available social problems on noncommercial associations".

According to the governor, the state, business, physical persons and volunteers participate in charity in Lombardy.

Vasily Bochkarev said: "It's normal for them. If everyone helps needy and seriously ill patients, it will form other mutual relations between people and special culture. The Italians who visited Russia noticed that everybody speak only about money in our country and it is inadmissible".

He underlined that it is necessary for Penza region to adopt the experience of work of not-for-profit organizations in Lombardy.
