Patients of hospitals should not buy disposable syringes and systems — regional fond of compulsory hospital insurance

Penza, 24 October 2011. PenzaNews. Disposable syringes and systems for intravenous injection of liquids should be supplied free of charge to the assured citizens who have treatment in round-the-clock and day hospitals. The director of the regional fund of obligatory medical insurance of the Penza region Elena Aksenova said about it.

She said: "According to the territorial program of compulsory hospital insurance from the fourth quarter 2011 means expenses on medicines for patients were increased".

According to her, if specialists of a hospital ask the patient to buy the syringes and systems, it is necessary to inform the insurance company or territorial fund of obligatory medical insurance about it by phone.

She said: "Besides, it is necessary to keep all checks confirming acquisition of syringes and systems to get material compensation after that".
