Penza, 26 October 2011. PenzaNews. The annual action “It’s simple to do good!” will not be finished on November, 1st as it had been planned before. Penza schoolboys will gather more berries, fruit and vegetables for animals of Penza zoo.

Lyudmila Akuljushina the methodologist of the Penza zoo said: “In 2010 much less food for animals was gathered than this year. Therefore we made decision to prolong it for some days”.

According to her, children pleasure take part in gathering of vegetables and fruit every year with pleasure. Besides, among schoolboys even absolute leaders in the help to animals have come to light.

She said: “Annually the greatest support in gathering of berries, vegetables and fruit was rendered by pupils of school №66 and linguistic grammar school №6. For example, in 2009 pupils of school №66 gathered 600 kg of red mountain ash”.

She also noticed that adults also usually take part in the action.

We thank them for kindness”. Lyudmila Akuljushina said: “Spouses Yury and Lyudmila Smyslovy usually bring jam and fruit.

She added that within the limits of the “It’s simple to do good!” everybody can bring fruit, vegetables, berries, nuts, acorns and jam to the zoo.

Lyudmila Akuljushina said: “Action is held not because our animals have nothing to eat but to make people think and care about nature. Although animals like to eat delicious food”.

The most active participants of the action “It’s simple to do good!” are invited to ecological actions. Besides, the employees of the zoo lead free excursions for them.
