Solemn ceremony of opening the forum “Project Province” took place in Penza

Penza, 27 October 2011. PenzaNews. Solemn ceremony of opening of the 1st humanitarian forum “Project Province” took place in Penza Regional Drama Theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky on Thursday, October, 27th. Plenary session was opened by known TV producer, journalist and director Alexander Gordon. He greeted the participants of the forum and said that it’s “a potential useful action”.

Alexander Gordon said: “This humanitarian forum is the first one in Russia. It unites humanitarian, investment and tourist components. Such association urged to solve region problems in complex”.
He underlined that he was born and brought up in province that’s why he takes part in this action.
He said: “I published literary magazine “Korostel. Letters from Russia” some years ago. It was created to find bright artists from province”.
According to Alexander Gordon, Moscow is the biggest province in Russia.
Alexander Gordon said: “People do not know about the real life of the neighbor regions not only in Moscow, but also in the close regions, than there live neighbors. It is necessary to create relationships between the regions. The authorities can’t work properly without it”.
Then Vasily Bochkarev greeted the participants of the forum and thanked everybody who came to the Penza region.
The head of the region said: “We are sick of listening to people who declare that their city if new capital. There is a competition but I think it will not last any longer”.
Vasily Bochkarev said that many people want to move to Moscow now.
The governor said: “But if everybody leaves, who will till the ground which has already grown with wood and a thistle? Therefore the overall objective of our forum is to develop new ways of solution of a problem of development of the territories. I’d like the youth stay in the region and be proud that they are from province”.
The head of region has wished participants of a forum to reach positive result of dialogue.
Vasily Bochkarev said: “We should advise each other any first step which will be verified in common by representatives of business and culture”.
Besides, the governor said that he’s sure that the humanitarian forum will be traditional and next year much more participants will take part in it.
“Province” is the first humanitarian forum which is held in Penza on October, 27th and 28th. Its overall objectives are to form the atmosphere of expert community and to search new ways of social and economic development of region by means of cultural communication of people.
Expert audience will include famous figures of culture, arts, television, sports and education. Alexander Gordon, Michael Zhvanetsky, Boris Grachevsky, Dmitry Bykov, Alla Surikova, Svetlana Svetlichnaya, Boris Korchevnikov, Larisa Verbitsky, Svetlana Horkina, Igor Dobrin, Natalia Bestemyanova, Ivan Zasursky, Elena Vartanova, Yury Vyazemsky and others will take part in the forum.
Besides, the participants of a forum Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, Natalia Varley, Tatyana Ustinova and Alexander Gordon will present their new works and will hold creative meetings with their admirers.
The 4th investment forum of the Penza region and an exhibition "Tourism and rest" will be also held as a part of forum "Province" in Penza.
Penza branch of LTD “Rostelecom” which is a technical partner of the forum “Province” provided press center for representatives of federal mass-media. Workplaces for journalists are provided with the Internet (Ethernet technology). Press center is provided with telecommunication services. Besides, in the building of Drama Theater there are WiFi-zones.
