Penza, 31 October 2011. PenzaNews. The school of young journalists was opened and the first class was held at Penza State Pedagogical University named after V.G. Belinsky on Sunday, October, 30th.

As the news agency "PenzaNews" informed earlier, as a result of the competition 50 pupils of comprehensive schools of 10-11 grade of the Penza region were chosen for training at school.

During the solemn ceremony the rector of the university Vladimir Korotov wished success and expressed hoped that all of students will become the students of Penza Pedagogical University.

Ivan Shcheblykin, the head of chair of journalism at Penza State Pedagogical University said: “Journalism in Russia urged not only to extend the information, but also to influence a society. Don't waste your time and listen the professors carefully”.

The next class will be held on November, 20th.

Following the results of training the best eleventh-grader will receive a target direction to study at the department "Journalism".
