Penza, 1 November 2011. PenzaNews. Penza fund “Civil Unity” took the fifth place among charity funds of Russia which are the most often mentioned in mass-media. There is also IDES "Businessman", fund “Present life” and others are also in this list.
The report about the condition of institutional charity was presented to Russian experts and general public at the 9th annual conference of the Forum of donors “Publicity of modern charity: for whom and what for it is necessary?”, which took place in Moscow.
According to Natalia Kaminarskaya, the executive secretary of the Forum of donors, everything depends on two things — specificity of fund and professionalism of the employees.
The chief executive of fund “Civil Unity” Oleg Sharipkov considers that it’s a great achievement for the regional fund to take the fifth place among charity funds of Russia which are the most often mentioned in mass-media.
Oleg Sharipkov said: “The Employees, the board, guardian council, volunteers and supporters of the fund work and try do best for our society. They don’t forget to tell about it to their friends and acquaintances. So they also became our assistants and write about charity in blogs and mass-media. So, charity became usual in our life”.
