The exhibition of the Penza photographers will take place in Great Britain

Penza, 14 November 2011. PenzaNews. The exhibition “Russian Backwoods” will be opened at School of a photo, television and cinema in the British city of Salisbury on Tuesday, on November, 15th. There will be exhibited 19 photo works of the members of the Penza photo club “Academy”. According to the head of the photo club “Academy” Edward Tevosov, about 8 months ago his colleague from the British college Elmiry Gusejnovoj offered to hold such exhibition in Great Britain.

Edward Tevosov explained: “The foreigners know only Moscow and St.-Petersburg. But the Russian backwoods are rather interesting for foreigners too. This theme was chosen as the idea of the exhibition.”

He added that Penza photographers sent 80 works to the committee.

He said: “The exhibition will work for 2 weeks. Students of School of photo, television and cinema can visit it. Besides, the slide film of photos is prepared and planned to be used during classes with the British students.”

Photo club "Academy" is a public organization which was created to increase the professional level of graduates of the “Photo art Academy”, existing in Penza since December, 2009.

Members of a photo club "Academy" are constant participants of the Russian and international exhibitions which are held by the International federation of photo art.
