Penza, 15 November 2011. PenzaNews. Questions of work of municipal passenger transport were discussed by the deputies of the Penza municipal duma during the session of the constant commission of city management, tenure and property on Tuesday, on November, 15th.

In particular, discussing the budget of 2012 the mayor Ivan Belozertsev charged to finance department administration of Penza to plan money resources to buy passenger buses next year.

Ivan Belozertsev said: “During the meetings with staff of Penza enterprises, people complained on work of passenger transport. As they said, it is almost impossible to get to job and back home quickly. This situation needs to be changed urgently and that’s why it is necessary to buy in trolley buses and buses”.

In his opinion, it is necessary to reconsider the scheme of movement of public transport to make it more convenient to satisfy modern requirements.

Ivan Belozertsev added that there are some positive changes, transport cards have been introduced and some routes of public transport have been corrected in Penza.
