Penza, 15 November 2011. PenzaNews. An ambulance station of the general practitioner was opened in the street Bogdanova in Penza on Tuesday, November, 15th. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev took part in the opening ceremony of it. The head physician of the city clinical hospital №5 Dmitry Zinovev, more than 2.6 million roubles were spent on repair works and equipment of the premises which are in step-by-step availability for local residents. The total space of the ambulance station is 150 sq. meters.

Dmitry Zinovev said: “There are two study rooms of doctor, procedural study room, physiotherapeutic study room and also personnel room. Two doctors and four nurses work there".
According to him, it is planned to render primary medical services to more than 5 thousand persons.
Having examined all study rooms of the ambulance station, the governor Vasily Bochkarev gave positive estimation, however he criticized the paper cards.
The head of the region said: “What for do you waste time to fill in paper cards if there is a computer where all information is stored in electronic form? If you need any data you can print it and don’t waste time on superfluous work”.
Thus Vasily Bochkarev underlined that the local authorities has made much.
The governor said: “The main thing is that it is possible to approach medical service to the population and especially to pensioners”.
Vasily Bochkarev said: “There are 14 ambulance stations of the general practitioner in Penza now. Our aim is open 25 stations total.”
According to him, till the end of the current year offices of general practitioners will be opened new Novo Kazanskaya Street and also stadium “Pervomaysky”.
Vasily Bochkarev said: “Besides it, it is planned to make a serious ambulance station with modern equipment in former children polyclinic in Krondshtatskaya Street in Arbekovo”.
One more task is to open an ambulance station in Sever district.
The governor summarized: “I think people will approve this project, as the general practitioners are as family doctors, very close people for local residents”.
