Penza, 21 November 2011. PenzaNews. 25.4 thousand working residents of the Penza region had additional prophylactic medical examination from the beginning of 2011. The annual plan was fulfilled to 86.5 %.

According to the press-service of the regional Ministry of health and social development, planned examination of health of the citizens was finished in Kuznetsk, Bekovsky, Vadinsky, Zemetchinsky, Kamensk, Kameshkirsky, Lopatinsky and Pachelmsky areas.

The press-service said: “By the results of additional prophylactic medical examination it is established that 20 % of working citizens are almost healthy, the risk of development of diseases is 27.9 %”.

The most of employees (51.4 %) needs additional examination. 148 persons (0.58 %) need stationary additional examination. 6 persons who passed additional prophylactic medical examination was referred to hi-tech medical treatment.

The ministry said: “One patient with tuberculosis, two patients with cancer diseases, 43 ones with diabetes, 167 people with ischemic heart trouble, 566 patients with obesity, 781 people with the raised level of arterial pressure were revealed from April till August, 2011”.
