Penza, 20 November 2011. PenzaNews. Fourteen messages on infringement of elective legislation in the Penza region was submitted by the representatives of the public in the period from October, 14th till November, 20th, 2011 on site “Map of infringements”.

There are such infringements, as the use of the power to create advantages, pressure of the heads upon voters, influence of law enforcement bodies, payoff of voters, infringement of rules of street and external propaganda and also propaganda in mass-media and others in the submitted messages.

According to the published messages, public men discovered the infringements in Penza, Kuznetsk, Serdobsk, Belinsk and also in settlements Lunino, Bashmakovo, Michurinsk and in the Serdobsky area of the Penza region.

7 messages of 14 ones placed on the site “Map of infringements” were sent to the bodies which are carrying out the supervision of observance of the selective legislation in the Penza region. At the same time, the founders of “Map of infringements” noted that all messages on infringements of the elective legislation are published on the site without preliminary check.

By 14.00 o’clock on November, 20th, 2011, 2 148 messages on infringements were registered on the site. The greatest quantity of the messages from public men was fixed in the Samara region (176 messages), Stavropol Territory (160 messages), St.-Petersburg (116 messages), the Saratov region (89 messages) and the Kirov region (64 messages).

The site “Map of infringements”, created by “Gazeta.Ru” and association “Golos” in 2011. It is an interactive map of infringements of the selective legislation. Any Internet user can take part in drawing up this map.

The project is realized by a principle of “crowdsourcing” when the users generate the site and organizers of the project incur only primary moderation and technical support.

In the summary of the project it is said that the fair and truthful information on events will promote justice and transparency of all election campaign and the map will allow to fix infringements even in the most remote corners of the country.

Besides, the founders of the site “Map of infringements” proceeded from presumption of equality of all participants of the election campaign, noticing that the project is opened for everything, irrespective of political views and preferences.
