20% of the population was vaccinated against flu in the Penza region

Penza, 22 November 2011. PenzaNews. More than 278.5 thousand persons or 20.2% of the population have been vaccinated against seasonal flu in the Penza region by November, 18th.

According to the regional department of Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, in epidemic period of 2011-2012 it is planned to vaccinate 416 000 persons, including 350 thousand persons as a part of the National calendar.

The source of the department said: 100 thousand persons will have vaccine “Grippol-plus”, 135 569 persons will have “Grippol” vaccine. Pre-epidemic immunization against a flu proceeds”.
